50 Things To Do In Los Angeles

50 Things to do in Los Angeles

I've lived in southern California since 2005 and in the Los Angeles county area since 2009. Although I'm approaching my 10 year anniversary in southern California, there are still a ton of things that I've yet to experience. I originally wanted to share the 25 item Los Angeles Bucket list, I thought that it would be more fun to share a more complete list of fabulous things to do in Los Angeles. All of the 25 items on my own personal Los Angeles Bucket List are marked with an asterisk*.

OOoh! This is really helpful for me– I’m still learning to embrace the fact that I now live in SoCal (Pasadena). To this list I would definitely add the Huntington Library and Gardens… it is SO amazing.

Good stuff! I love the Getty Villa, the Santa Monica Pier, and the boardwalk from Santa Monica to Venice. I’d also recommend adding the Solstice Canyon hike in Malibu to this list. It’s absolutely gorgeous! I wrote about it here:

This is an amazing list. So many things I want to experience! Other than Universal Studios we have never really spent much time in LA. It is usually just a stopping point on the way to somewhere else. I would love to just go and actually see it. :)

This is a great list! LA is one of my favorite places. Last time I visited, we went to the taping of The Price is Right. It was the longest day ever haha. Even with tickets we waited in line for over 5 hours- but it was worth it.

I spent 3,5 days in LA with my friends and did soooo many things…we walked Venice beach to Santa Monica, went to Malibu, took photos outside LACMA, visited the Grove, hiked up to Hollywood Sign, walked Hollywood Boulevard, visited Universal studios, went up to Griffith Observatory, walked around Downtown (and ate desserts from Bottega Louie)…I still can’t believe how we managed to do all these things in such a little time! That being said I want to re-visit LA one day and see many more things!!
