The Saguaro Palm Springs Hotel Review

Think of Palm Springs – what comes to mind? For me, I think hot, vintage, and colorful. The Saguaro Palm Springs is all of those things.

When a friend of mine planned her wedding in Palm Springs, I immediately booked a night at The Saguaro Palm Springs. How could I not? I'm pretty sure that every colorful wall featured in Instagram photos are from this hotel, so naturally I needed to see what it was all about.

The Saguaro Palm Springs did not disappoint. This hotel is a work of art. Quite literally. The rooms aren't fancy but they hit the 3Cs: clean, comfortable, and (unbelievably) colorful. Each color represents the gorgeous indigenous flowers of the Colorado Desert. For those of you that know me, you know that there are few things that I love more than seeing the desert in bloom. Swoon. Who cares if it was raining the whole time?

Even the rooms are bright and beautiful. Our room, fitted with a king bed and a balcony with a mountain view, was bright lime green and lemon yellow. The room was also outfitted with a little dining area, big ol' TV, a desk, and a mini fridge to keep our beer nice and cold.

The hotel is also centrally located and close to the airport to getting to/from the hotel and getting around the city is a breeze. If you're staying at The Saguaro during the weekend, prepare to party. The bright colors and DJ at the pool area remind me of a low0key Vegas party pool. So be prepared for that. That being said, Palm Springs is a slower desert than Las Vegas (exact when the Coachella crew is in town or if the White Party is happening) so you'll be enjoy relaxing by the pool as well.

Like any self-respecting hipster hotel, The Saguaro Palm Springs's pool has a stocked bar that also serves breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks. Yums. The Saguaro also has two restaurants: Rocco's Electric (which replaced Tinos, I believe) and El Jefe. We ate at El Jefe, the Tequila bar, one night and was not disappointed with the delicious tacos.

Overall, I loved our stay at The Saguaro Palm Springs and wish that we could have stayed longer!
