Hello from Denver. I'm out in the Mile High city for my profession's annual American conference. Meaning I'm going to be getting my nerd on all week. I'm here through Sunday so any suggestions on where to go / places to eat is appreciated!

I live in Denver! Since it’s warm, check out Little Man Ice Cream over in the Highlands (west side of the highway). It will change your life – and the entire ice cream stand is a giant milk jug! You can’t miss it! http://www.thewanderinghome.com

  • Denver is on my bucket list. Enjoy the city and conference!

  • There is a really fun themed restaurant with people who dive off of platforms into a big pool but I can’t seem to remember the name of it! If I think of it I’ll let you know.

Enjoy your time there in the fresh mountain air!!

Two years ago, we traveled to Boulder, Colorado. If you have access to a vehicle, I’d recommend you check it out–super-cool town with many great places to eat! Thank you for hosting this fab link-up! T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com

  • Super jealous of your work trip!

  • Casa Bonita is a Mexican place with a waterfall (and many other entertainments) inside it. It is worth it for the experience. (PS this is the place Lifeplus1 is thinking of). Also- I heard that Voodoo doughnuts opened a place in Denver.

    • I’ve actually been to Casa Bonita once before so we ended up skipping it this time around. I did love it though.

also, I’m bummed that I missed VooDoo but that is probably for the better since I gained like 20 pounds this weekend :)

  • Ohhh I love Denver!! There was a restaurant we went to that had a ton of craft beer that I absolutely loved – I’m kicking myself because I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me! If I think of it I will let you know. Have so much fun!

  • Jacob was just in Boulder last week which is 45 mins away from you.. but he said Zoe Mama and Oak at 14th are both really good!

  • Never been to Denver but I’ve heard nothing but great things about it. Might be time to book a trip!
