Past Adventures: Kyoto, Japan Deliciousness

During my time in Kyoto I had some of the most delicious food imaginable. Yummy soups and fried tempura, refreshing shaved ice topped with red beans, the best ramen I have ever had, and my first experience with conveyor belt sushi.

If you find yourself in Kyoto, make sure that you hit the following places:
Musashi Sushi: My first (and second) experience with conveyor belt sushi. Maybe not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but by far better than an lot of places in the states. Everyone who worked there was really nice and the food was fairly inexpensive.
Karako: Lonely Planet directed us here and so happy we found the place! Seriously the best ramen noodles I’ve had the pleasure of eating. If I ever go back I may have to forget that I’m a vegetarian for at least one day…

oh I miss authentic Japanese food. I didn’t get to have any sushi but the noodles are so delicious, I hope to go back just for the food!
