Dear 4^th of July: Thank you for facilitating a wonderful, relaxing time with friends and the beautiful display of fireworks. Oh, and for being the birthday of this fair country. Dear beer sampler: Thank goodness bars keep you in rotation. What is better than being able to try 4 different beers in one sitting without committing to the wrong one? Dear BET: Thank you for honoring my father’s band this past weekend. Dear readers: You are all so wonderful. Thanks for keeping me company over here in the blogging world. Dear allergies: I’m sick of you. Between the non-stop sneezing and random bumps that won’t go away, I’m done with you. So, please, quickly be done with me. Dear cute beach cruiser: As much as I absolutely love how cute you are, the fact that you have zero gears and I live at the bottom of a small hill makes it impossible to ride you further than 5 feet without huffing and puffing. Time for a new bike! Dear Gossip Girl: Please stop being so addicting. Seriously. I’m almost done with season 4 and plan on busting through season 5 in a matter of days. Dear Rogue River: I’m almost too exciting for rafting next week. Please be kind to me. Dear sunshine: I love you.  Please don’t leave me. Ever.
